Trusted Hands & Hearts Home Care is all about maintaining your independence, being able to stay in your own home, where you have memories, love, your belongings, but most of all the comfort you get from being in your own surroundings. Sometimes it is hard to help our loved ones because we have so much going on in our lives, but we want the best for them, unfortunately the best for most is overlooked. Nursing home is like a curse word when it comes to getting older or having a disability and not being able to do everything for yourself. Well, no worries, a solution has arrived.

My name is Kristina Derusha I am the owner of Trusted Hands & Hearts Home Care, I have been in the caregiving industry for 5 years now, I started working in nursing homes, and I just couldn't fathom the idea that people with so much life to live and so much love to give where cooped up in a building, where everything looks the same everyday and not have their own privacy, their own home, their surroundings.  It simply broke my heart. I decided I was going to look into other options to help people maintain independence, I started working with a company that works directly to do just that and I just loved it, I loved how everyone was so happy and so comfortable with their surroundings, because it was theirs.... I then started to look into how I could help even more, well, come to find out, we have here in Colorado we have what you call a Host Home Provider, that is where you care for the disabled directly in your home, they live with you, you make your home their home. They become family, I have been doing this for 2 years and it is one of the best decisions I could have made. I love what I do immensely.
